Every year, camps are held in different locations in partnership with Shahid Gangalal National Heart Center (SGNHC) and Manmohan Cardiothoracic Vascular and Transplant Center (MCVTC), taking into account the area's economic, topographical, and medical conditions. There are two different kinds of free cardiac camps:
Specific Cardiac Camp
This heart camp is for selected cardiac patients who, for a variety of reasons, cannot travel all the way to the capital to seek frequent follow-up.
General Cardiac Camp
Everyone is welcome to come and receive free medical advice and screening to rule out the chance that they have a cardiovascular disease or are at risk of developing one.
- From our camps, we identify cardiac patients and recommend them to MCVTC and SGNHC for treatment.
- Several heart camps have been held in 53 districts of Nepal so far.
Along with that, JMT together with SGNHC and MCVTC has started giving Basic Life Support ( BLS) Training to diverse medical and non-medical participants during the cardiac camp.
