May Measurement Month (MMM) is a global initiative to screen high blood pressure (BP) in increase awareness at the population level. High BP is the leading risk factor for mortality worldwide and in Nepal.

The awareness campaign was first conducted at Teaching Hospital followed by public places of Kathmandu Valley. The screening and awareness camp was than conducted in several locations where hundreds of participants were received. The camp locations were Institute of Medicine Maharajgunj Medical Campus – Kathmandu, Basantapur, Tokha, Chitwan, Morang, Pokhara. A total number of 5000 people around the valley were screened.
