On May 1, 2025, Jayanti Memorial Trust in collaboration with Manmohan Cardiothoracic Vascular and Transplant Center (MCVT), Siddhicharan Municipality successfully organized a one- day free cardiac camp at Sorbu, Okhaldhunga. A total of 443 individuals underwent Echo screenings, while 491 individuals had ECG tests. Of the total participants, 305 people received prescription medications, further supporting the diagnosis provided by cardiologists and physicians. A total of 385 individuals underwent Blood Sugar test. Despite the weather challenges, the camp saw strong community participation, underscoring the high demand for cardiac services in rural Nepal. The number of people seeking services far exceeded initial expectations, indicating a significant cardiac disease burden in the region.
